LMH1219: Why LMH129 need choose cable using 12G SDI applictian

Can you send us the register values for when the device is not working? You can use the GUI to save the device configuration and send it over.

Here are some instructions to download the SigCon Architect GUI:

• Download the GUI <- linked here
• Request the LMH1219 design files on TI.com and download the LMH1219 updater
• Configure the I2C address and connect to the LMH1219 using SMBus.
• 
• On the low level page click "Save Config"
•

Thanks for sending the cfg files!

I reviewed and there's a difference in the EQ adaptation between the cables. Do both cables register a CDR lock on the LMH1219?

Can you try and bypass cable EQ when using the bad cable?

Navigate to the cable EQ drivers registers by writing to 0xFF then:

RAW REG VALUE MASK

RAW 0x27 0x0C 0x0C // bypass cable EQ 

Alternatively, you can check the EQ bypass enable? checkbox on the high level page of the GUI.
