Whether it's OK that we connect TUSB216 pin1,pin2 to USB connector side, and pin7,pin8 to SOC USB port? Which is contrary to reference schematic in the datasheet.

Hi Ailing,
The TUSB216, as well as all of our USB2 redrivers, are bidirection/direction agnostic. You can have the data pins connect to either the host or the device, as long as the DP and DM pins are connected to the right lanes, there should be no issue.
