Tool/software:
We are facing two issue about using dp83640:Frequently, there is a "timed out while polling for tx timestamp" issue. It is suggested that "increasing tx_timestamp.timeout may correct this issue," but it is likely caused by a driver bug.
There is a significant clock skew between two boards, which is greater than 5 microseconds.
Hello,
Can you please provide where this driver was obtained from?
Sincerely,
Gerome
We use the driver from the Rockchip SDK, with the Linux version being 5.10. Since DP83640 is not the default PHY chip for Rockchip, we have reason to believe that the driver for DP83640 is the version from the Linux mainline。
Hello,
You may need to consult with Rockchip for this as we could not find this specific error within our Linux driver. Please note that this driver has very limited support.
Sincerely,
Gerome
