DP83822I: How to interface DP83822IR with RMII mode

Tool/software:

Currently in our new design we are using DP83822IRHBR phy chip with IMX93 processor with RMII mode.

But REF_CLK output from IMX93 processor side, How to connect REF_CLK from processor to DP83822IRHBR PHY check. Could you please provide me the interface details for RMII mode.

As per the datasheet there are MASTER MODE and SLAVE MODE. which method we should follow kindly confirm.

    Hi Ramesha, 

    The oscillator clock input should be connected to the XI pin of the PHY.

    RMII mode supports both Slave and Master signaling. Either one of these options is a viable solution depending on the MAC used. The difference between the two is that in RMII slave mode, both the MAC and the PHY need to share the same 50MHz clock, while in master mode, the PHY takes in a 25MHz clock on XI, and outputs a 50MHz clock on RX_D3 which acts as the clock input for the MAC.
