Tool/software:
The customer has had the component TPD1E05U06DPYR ; TPD4E05U06DQAR in stock since 2021/22 and plans to assemble it in 2025/26. He fears that the long storage period could damage the component and create a high number of rejects in production or, even worse, returns from the field. Can this prolonged storage compromise/damage the component both during assembly and in its use in the final application? Is there any risk of oxidation of the pads? both for components in original closed and open packaging? Can you give me a "best practice" guide for storing the components? Can re-sealing the packages help? Are there any treatments before welding that can "revive" the pads if oxidized? If it is MSL1 can the component be used safely even if stored in a humid environment? Please give me a feedback as soon as possible, customer is waiting our feedback to start with production.
