LMH1218: Unused ports

Tool/software:

I have a project where I am only using one port of the LMH1218. What is the correct method to configure unused ports IN1+/- and OUT1+/-? Should they be left floating, tied to ground, pulled to ground? I was unable to find a recommendation in the datasheet.

I am also using an LMH1219 on this project and need to know the correct method to configure used port on that part too. I presume it would be the same as the LMH1218.

    Hi John,

    The unused ports can be left floating. The LMH1218 will power down the unused inputs and you will have to use SMBus or SPI to disable OUT1 (channel register 0x84).

    For the LMH1219, you can use the IN_OUT_SEL pin setting to control which output you want to disable.
