Tool/software:
We want to use TPD1E10B06QDPYRQ1 to replace PESD5V0F1BRLD-Q, and my customer did TPD1E10B06QDPYRQ1 on board the ESD test, but failed. Could you please recommend a pin-to-pin replacement solution to alternate PESD5V0F1BRLD-Q ? Thanks.

Hi Albert,
The TPD1E10B06 has higher IEC ESD ratings than the PESD5V0F1BRLD-Q and very similar clamping performance, it should not be getting damaged on any ESD testing that PESD5V0F1BRLD can pass.
When you say the ESD test failed, was only the IC downstream damaged? Or the ESD diode is damaged as well?
Also can you share details on the ESD test setup?
Regards,
Sebastian
Thanks! The application is a BMS, and the ESD issue ( phenomenon) is that the IC is in idle mode, sometimes restarting; it failed for the BMS customer, even though the IC is not damaged.
Hi Albert,
What kV rating is causing the "phenomenon"? Also, can you share details on test setup?
Best,
McKenzie
