DS90UH947-Q1: CameraLink Interface

Hi, 

Datasheet says that input must be single or dual Open LDI. I would like to connect this IC to the Base or Medium Camera Link interface. 

Can I connect directly? or I need anything else?

    What is the specific protocol of the camera link interface? Can you provide a block diagram and the use case of this system?

    The video stream will be like below. 

    Base CameraLink (CMOS camera) -> DS90UB947 -> DS90UB948 -> Graphic Processor

    Hi,

    Thank you for the block diagram. Sorry, my question was unclear. What is the video protocol that you are outputting from the CameraLink? I also need to know the video protocol that the graphic processor takes in. The DS90UB947 takes in OLDI from a source (in this case, CameraLink) and the DS90UB948 outputs OLDI to a target device (in this case, Graphic Processor). If you were to use the 947/948 pair, the CameraLink would have to output OLDI and Graphic Processor would take in OLDI as shown in the diagram. 

    If that is not the case, please provide the video protocols of the CameraLink and Graphic Processor so we can find the best suited solution for you.
