TPD1E1B04: MARKING NOT MATCHED AS PER DATASHEET

Dear TI team,

We received TPD1E1B04DPYR part with wrong marking i.e"AS" instead of "4X" as per datasheet . Please confirm, if it is ok to use or not ?

It is better if you update the datasheet with both marking to "AS" and "4X" for the available stock in your inventory marked with "AS" OR release some kind of notification to show our customer to satisfy them.

Hi Prakash,

It is okay to be used. Some of our 'DPY' devices coming out of one of our assembly sites was mismarked with 'A5'. This is a known issue and has already been fixed, but parts will still be seen with the wrong marking as they make their way through the system.

If you give me a customer name, I can send over a quality letter.

Thanks for correcting me - Yes marking is A5 not AS (typing mistake).
