We are thinking of using either the DS64BR111 and DS100BR210 part for our board design. Our biggest question will be availability and lifetime for DS64BR111 compared to DS100BR210.

How do each compare as far as availability and OEL status? Thanks.

    Hi Arley,

    Both DS64BR111 and DS100BR210 are active. As far as I'm aware there is no plan to EOL either of these devices in the near future. That being said, DS100BR210 supports a broader range of use cases due to its support of higher data rates. Therefore I suggest to use DS100BR210 over DS64BR111 if there is no clear advantage to using DS64BR111 in your application.

    If you prefer the bidirectional channel design of DS64BR111, we have another device DS100BR111 which utilizes bidirectional channel design but is otherwise identical to DS100BR210.
