I solved the EDID problem by letting soc output a specific 1080p, and DS90UB949 would switch automatically.
Now there is another problem that we need to make the D_GPIO of DS90UB948 change with the DS90UB949D_GPIO. What registers need to be set.
Our backlight control PWM signal is going to this channel.

Glad to hear the EDID issue is resolved!
There is a table in the datasheet that explains how to map GPIOs in forward direction (SER to DES) or back channel direction (DES to SER). Just follow the SER register override and DES register override for the GPIO you need and the direction you need. Depending on which GPIO you want to map you can use table below.
