DS90UB941AS-Q1: Confirmation of the display and control functions from the host computer to the LCD screen.

Hi Team.
The customer plans to use DS90UB941ASRTDTQ1 and DS90UB948TNKDRQ1 to realize the display and control function from host to LCD screen;
Please help to confirm whether it is feasible to adopt the following scheme at the LCD screen side:
1. use pin 45 and pin 46 of DS90UB948TNKDRQ1 chip to connect two other IIC devices (light sensor, backlight power diagnostic) for data reading at the same time;
2. using the DS90UB948TNKDRQ1 chip's pin 16, pin 17, pin 18 to connect to the SPI port of the LCD screen to read the fault diagnostic information of the LCD screen;
3. using the DS90UB948TNKDRQ1 chip pin 8 to control the LCD screen backlight power supply PWM pin, control frequency 10KHZ;

    Thanks for your question.

    Yes - a I2C host controller on SER side can set up I2C aliasing to communicate to slave devices on display I2C bus.

    2. using the DS90UB948TNKDRQ1 chip's pin 16, pin 17, pin 18 to connect to the SPI port of the LCD screen to read the fault diagnostic information of the LCD screen;

    941/948 has SPI mode that allows for SPI communication between SER and DES. 

    . using the DS90UB948TNKDRQ1 chip pin 8 to control the LCD screen backlight power supply PWM pin, control frequency 10KHZ;

    10kHz forward channel GPIO PWM is possible.
