DS90LV049H: DS90LV049HMTX/NOPB

Part Number: DS90LV049H

Tool/software:

Hi,

Hope you are doing good!

We are currently using this IC "FIN1049MTCX" from On semiconductor, Since it is now EOL we are planning to consider this IC "DS90LV049HMTX/NOPB" from Texas Instruments.

FIN1049MTCX:                                                                                                 DS90LV049HMTX/NOPB:

While comparing the specs between both ICs, we found that there are difference in typical value of "Differential input threshold high" & "Differential input threshold Low".

On Semiconductor:                                                                        Texas Instruments:

Differential input threshold high = 0 min                                         Differential input threshold high = -15 min

Differential input threshold Low = 0 max                                        Differential input threshold Low = -15 max

Would you please explain why typical differential value Texas Instruments is -15?

Regard,

Yazh

  • The LVDS specification requires receivers to switch somewhere between −100 mV and +100 mV. Both devices conform to the specification.

The DS90LV049H has fail-safe biasing that ensures that the output is high when the inputs are open or shorted.
