TPD4S480: Stock or replacement/alternative

Hi Diego,

The TPD4S480 is required for use with the TPS26750 for supporting EPR voltages, there are no alternates that would replace this. I did check online and there is some low volume stock available today: https://www.ti.com/product/TPD4S480

This device actually just released about one month ago, so we are still building up for higher volumes and should have much more in stock very soon.

According TPS26750 datasheet the abs max input for Vbus is 28V. My application will be 140w sink, 100W source, assuming that my charger will work according the standard and therefore will deliver 28V max, can I use this controller with out TPD4S480? I know that is push the IC to the limit, but at least during development, when it's suppose to be a controlled environment, can I use it as mentioned?

I'm looking into why you are unable to view the inventory, we will hopefully get this resolved shortly. Unfortunately the TPS26750 needs to be paired with TPD4S480 for EPR as the 28V abs max is actually not high enough to meet the EPR spec. Even when operating at 28V you will need additional head room to meet the USB-IF spec.
