Hi,

we are using DS110DF410 as pass through IC for ARINC818 data in which link speed is 1.0625Gbps ,we want to use same hardware for HD-SDI ,in which speed is 1.48Gbps ,is it possible to use DS110DF410 for HD-SDI data standard?

Hi Venkatesh,

No, unfortunately, this is not possible. 1.485 Gbps * 8 = 11.88 gbps. 0.58 Gbps above the maximum speed for the DS110DF410.

Might I suggest one of our SDI retimers?

The LMH0318 is a HD-SDI retimer and the cost is lower than the DS110DF410.

May I know How you have consider the value 8 for the calculation ?

As mentioned in the data rates are 8.5 to 11.3 ,is this for each channel or for 4 channels combined?

Hi Venkatesh,

The DS110DF410 supports subrates of divide by 2/4/8.

1.0625Gbps * 8 = 8.5Gbps (Check)

1.485Gbps * 8 = 11.88Gbps (Out of range)

1.485Gpbs * 4 = 5.94Gbps (Out of range)
