DS90UB960-Q1: how to understand ub960 0x90/91 and 0x94/95 registers

Part Number: DS90UB960-Q1

Tool/software:

HI BU team

How should users understand the definitions on UB960 0x90/91 and  0x94/95 registers?

The 0x90/91 registers report the all accumulated frame counts at CSI0 tx port to 0xFFFF, is it right?

The 0x93/94 registers report the all accumulated line counts at CSI0 tx port to 0xFFFF, is it right?

Thanks

  • Hi Ted,

Thanks for your question. Please see details below:

    • 0x90 / 0x91: this is CSI port 0 frame counter - first 0x90 should be read followed by 0x91.
    • 0x94 / 0x95: this is line count on the CSI port - first read 0x94 then 0x95.

Overall these registers are used by reading to clear, followed by a read at a set time point to check the FPS of video which is being sent on the CSI port.

    Best,

    Thomas
