Hi, Support Team

our client are studying how to save power in sleep mode(All power off, only INH/VBat live).
So VBat will be key power consumption.
Follow datasheet TCAN1146-Q1 of VBat is one of power-up sequencer.
If we don’t need that channel can be wake-up. Can we just no connection Vbat?

if any suggestion, Please advise me.

    Lawrence,

    Once VBAT is supplied according to datasheet specifications, the device powers up into Standby mode, driving INH high. If VBAT is not supplied, then the device is powered off, so no function will be available. In that case, yes, leaving VBAT off will be the lowest power consumption option, as long as no other function is needed from the transceiver.
