DS90LV012A: Solution selection question

Hi team,

My customer is looking for receiver for HCSL to single-end.

The purpose is to translate the 100MHZ HCSL signal to single-end signal, similar to DS90LV012A model. Cause DS90LV012A is showing for LVDS, not sure that is compatible for HCSL as well.

Do you have any suggestions?

    HCSL drivers require the 50 Ω resistors to ground, so you cannot omit them.

    The LVDS receiver still needs the 100 Ω termination resistor.

    HCSL has a very low common-mode voltage, but the DS90LV012A should be able to work with that. If you are using an LVDS receiver that requires a higher common-mode voltage, use AC coupling, and bias one input to the required voltage (typically with a 9.1 kΩ and 5.1 kΩ resistor divider from the 3.3 V supply).
