SN65DSI86-Q1: Up scaler IC

Hello Expert,

Our customer is considering to use our SN65DSI86-Q1.

However, their system's video input size is 1920x1080 fps but required video output by panel side is 2880x1620.
The best case is this bridge IC have not only bridge function but also up scaler function but I cannot found this.

Then, Is there any up scaler device for SN65DSI86-Q1?

Unfortunately we do not have an up-scaler device, can they not use both the DSI86-Q1 DSI Channel A and B?

I cannot catch up about why you are asking below.
Can they not use both the DSI86-Q1 DSI Channel A and B?

DSI86-Q1 supports dual DSI channels. When configured for dual DSI channels, the SN65DSIx6 supports ODD/EVEN configurations and LEFT/RIGHT configurations. In the ODD/EVEN configuration, the odd pixels for each scan line are received on channel A, and the even pixels are received on channel B. In LEFT/RIGHT mode, the left portion of the line is received on channel A, and the right portion of the line is received on channel B.

So I am wondering if it is possible for them to send 1920x1080 LEFT on channel A and 1920x1080 RIGHT on channel B.

I understand dual DSI can support higher resolution as like as 4k2k but how does this function up scale from 1920x1080 to 2880x1620?

Can the DSI SoC support outputting the 1440x1620 resolution on both Channel A and B? If not, then we will not have a solution that can support this design requirement.

Hi David-san,

I understand need to support dual channel DSI for using 4K resolution due to data late limitation at DSI lane.
As of now, data IF is still under discussion.
