TUSB8044: Does TUSB8042, TUSB8044 or TUSB8044A able to support DP alt mode?

Dear support,

My customer is need to connect the USB 3.1 to 3 peripherals.

- 1 for USB 2.0,

- 1 for USB 3.1 Gen 1 charging/data transfer, and

- 1 for DP alt

TUSB8042 seems do not support DP alt. Can you help to confirm if TUSB8044 or TUSB8044A is the right choice for this combination?

Hi Felix:

Non TI hub can support DP alt mode alone, You need TUSB546 or TUSB564 togehter to support DP alt mode.

Are you able to share the schematic or reference design or connection diagram for this case?

do you have a more completed connection diagram?

It's just a block diagram we proposed, We don't have reference design for above diagram.

We can have a call with customer to discuss what they really need.
