TUSB2036: TUSB2036 crystal cap and power control question

Greetings!

I have following questions for hub design with tusb2036

1. What is the 33pf capacitor spec for the crystal? Does it require C0G? GRM39COG220J50 is mentioned in the eval doc doc but the part is not active anymore.

2. If overcurrent input OVRCUR1/2/3 and power control output PWRON1/2/3 are unused - should they be tied to 3v3, and if yes, does is require a pullup?

Hi Mir:

for crystal, you can use X49SS2-6.000-F20L.

if power switching is not used, you can leave PWRON1/2/3 floating, but still suggest to pullup OVRCUR1/2/3 to 3.3V.

Hi Brian, thanks for the quick response. For #1 I was asking the specs for the crystal load capacitor - should it be C0G/X7R etc, as well as its voltage spec. If there is an active part that would work too. Cheers.

Hi Mir:

for load capacitor , we prefer C0G. as long as the capacitor value is close to 27pf to 33pf, it should be ok.
