Hey Team,

On the TUSB216I, if you have the boost set with a resistor on the BOOST pin, can that setting be overridden using I2C, or should the BOOST pin be left floating when using I2C?

Hi Jason,

When using I2C with the TUSB216, the redriver will detect what BOOST setting is configured at start-up, and will be set accordingly. Then, I2C can be used to overwrite that setting. As such, it's safer to have the BOOST pin set to a lower level, just to ensure no overcompensation occurs.
