Hello Team ,

In our application we need to Negotiate for the with laptop for Current Advertisement (5V@3A) using the Standalone CC Controller in UFP(Sink) Configuration.

Power is required to update the Firmware in our device connected to Laptop(Host) with our device.

Data Exchange between Laptop(Host) and our device will occur over USB TO ETHERNET BRIDGE IC (LAN7801).

(LAPTOP <---> USB TO ETHERNET BRIDGE <---> AM62A3-Q1 SOC)

So this is the use case ,For reference do refer the below block diagram.

Kindly purpose appropriate solution for our requirement !

Also the Part should be AEC qualified for Automotive application.

Hi,

The only automotive qualified part we have is the TUSB319-Q1. Unfortunately, this is a DFP only CC controller.

We do not have an appropriate part for you requirement. The design concept should be ok. I am reassigning to another team to see if we have a part that may work.

Tirthal,

We do not have a released part for that application, but we are working on an industrial type C controller that is AEC qualified.

I will assign this thread over to the correct team to address this.

Hi Tirthal,

As Chuck mentioned we do not have a product for this type of application available today. Earliest we would have a product capable of meeting these requirements would be 2026 timeframe.
