Hi Do-hyun,

What are the requirements for that similar IC? TCAN146x-Q1 is the only device we have for CAN FD SIC + partial networking.

For CAN FD SIC, please find TCAN1473-Q1. (no partial networking)

For partial networking CAN, please find TCAN114x-Q1 family. (no SIC)

If there is no safety manual and fmeda data for tcan1469-q1, I will try to use the safety manual and fmeda data of TCAN1463DYYRQ1, which is the most similar product, to respond to the safety function analysis. Please provide the data for TCAN1463DYYRQ1 as soon as possible.

Hi Chase,

We do not have a separate safety manual for TCAN1463-Q1. TCAN4550-Q1 is a CAN controller + transceiver integration, that's why we have such a document to help developers integrate this device into safety-related systems. TCAN1463-Q1 is transceiver only, there is no software integrated. You can still use that TCAN4550-Q1 functional safety manual as a reference to design the system though, but I would recommend get such kind of documentation from your CAN controller supplier.
