DS90UR908Q-Q1: Best practice to set low state of Control and Configuration pins

Part Number: DS90UR908Q-Q1

Tool/software:

In our application, some Control and Configuration pins(ie.: CONFIG[0], LFMOD, MAPSEL, BISTEN, SSC[2:0], PASS/EQ, RES) needs to be set low. In the datasheet, it indicates that they all have internal pull-down. What's the best practice to set them low? Do we just leave them floating? Or, just tie them to ground directly? I also see in some design using 10k resistor to tie them to ground.

  • Hello,

This depends on each of the control and configuration pins individually. It would be best to follow the datasheet recommendation and use a 10 kΩ pull up to VDDIO for high state and tie it directly to ground for a low state.

    Best regards,
