Dear Team,

We are using DP83822I Ethernet Phy IC in our controller for Ethernet application. We are using 1.8V supply for VddIO (21pin) & AVdd (14Pin). This Application, we want use LED-0 (17pin) & LED-1/GPIO1 (24Pin) power supply with 3.3V.

So please suggest this 3.3V can be connect these LED pins, If VDDIO & AVDD is connected to 1.8V Power supply. Due to LED drop is 1.9V max, so we want to connect this LED supply to 3.3V & Ground is same of 3.3V & 1.8V Power Supply.

Hi Shiva,

VDDIO for DP83822 are controlling both GPIO and MAC interface voltage level.

LED are control by VDDIO. Is it possible to change VDDIO to 3.3V?

Thank you for quick reply.

But it is not possible to change the VDDIO supply to 3.3V, because DP83822 interfacing MCU Ethernet Port is working at 1.8V power supply as per MCU recommendation.

Hi Shiva,

Unfortunately, VDDIO power rail control both GPIO and MAC interface.

It is not possible to configure GPIO pin voltage into 3.3V and MAC interface into 1.8V for DP83822
