THVD1452: THVD1452 received diff data without Vcc Power.

Hi,

When customer receives the diff data without Vcc power on THVD1452, What is occurred? Is it possible to damage THV1452 under the above condition?

My understanding is no issue to supply within absolute max voltage (+-18V) in spite of no Vcc power. Is it correct? Please advise us.

The transceiver will not be damaged as long as the bus voltages stay inside the ±18 V limits, regardless of whether V_CC is present.

Hattori-san,

Your understanding is correct - voltage on the differential receiver pins as long as they are within the +/- 18V limit is fine regardless if VCC has power applied or not.
