Hello all,

I am currently looking for a TI chip that is able to convert PCIe to USB. I would like to have a min. of 2 USB 3.0 ports. Additionally, the USB ports need to have boot support for the RPI CM4 module. Boot support as in the USB ports need to be usable before the CM4 boots into the OS.

Is this chip able to do what I am looking for or are there and other recommendations for chips that will meet my design requirements?

Somehow I can't open the link.

For boot support, you need to set from BIOS: select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > System Options > USB Options > USB Boot Support.

or from Linux system.

Is this something from the within the BIOS of the CM4?

Can you check with RPI to see if their system can support USB boot support? They should know more detail about it.
