Hi Team,

I am using TI Mux/Demux TMUXHS4412IRUAT in my design. I have attached system block diagram. The Host is able to detect the PCIe or SATA SSDs connected to M.2 conn via this mux/demux. When during read or write operation, data transfer of 600MB is only successful. We are unable to do data transfer beyond 600MB. Please let us know whether this IC has any limitation for data transfer.

Hello Shifali,

Thank you for sharing the schematic.

The TMUXHS4412 should be able to pass signals up to 20Gbps.

What happens when you try to transfer beyond 600Mb?

Is this issue happen across all the I/Os of the mux?

Hi Nir,

Yes. The issue happens across all the IOs. We have used 4 MUX and 4 Demux. The issue exists with both PCIe and SATA read/write.

When we try to transfer the data beyond 600Mb, we get the attached error.

What is outputting this error? What part of the system?

When it comes to the signals passing through the mux, what are their voltage levels?
