DS90LV004: DS90LV004 LVDS input failsafe biasing to '0'

Part Number: DS90LV004

Tool/software:

Hello,
I need to pull the failsafe biasing state to 0 when there is no signal.

The datasheet says to place pull-up / down resistors between 5kohms and 15kohms in order to have a differential voltage of at least +/- 100mV. However, if we are to have at least 100mV, the pull-up / down resistors must be less than or equal to 6kohms. So where does the 5k 15k range information in the datasheet come from?

I had initially biased with 10k resistors but the differential voltage is only 16mV.

Thanks for your help,

Regards,

Louis
