Hi Sir/ Madam,
I am going to connect two phy chips DP83867CSRGZ and DP83867IRPAP,
Do I have to use a transformer or two transformers that has better performance? If so, do you have a reference design to help our design?

I saw the reference schematic design in the datasheet and recommended the transformer part HX5008FN on page 105.
In my case, should I replace the 75 ohm to 0.1uF as phy chip side?
Hi,
Can you provide more detail on your design application? Are you trying to connect back to back and on the same board?
Thanks
David
Yes, I am trying to connect back to back and on the same board.
I want to establish communication between two FPGAs through their ethernet phy interface which is DP83867CSRGZ and DP83867IRPAP.
Hi,
I would still recommend having two transformers at each end of PHY for this design following the datasheet recommendation. We have not verified if using just one transformer would work in this particular case.
Thanks
David
