This is Mihir Chauhan from Aimtron Technology Pvt.Ltd. We are working on an application project which is specifically used in audio domain. In this project, we have decided to use USB Hub which will be integrated with DSP For communication.
In this project, our customer required a Host charging capabilities on up-stream port. That means, UP Port must be configured in the device mode, but it should charge the Host (i.e., iPad). Therefore, I want to inquire that is it feasible to charge the host from hub up-stream port? If yes, the how it will work?
Do you have any USB HUB IC which has PD Charging functionality and supports USB Up-Stream Port charging to HOST facility.
