Hi, 

I have found this link which provides an overview of I2C GPIO.

I am looking for I2C GPIO with at least 8 GPIOs with internal Flash memory such that after the power recycle we don't need to program/configure through I2C again. After power reset it should hold the previous state at all the GPIOs. Any suggestion ?

    Hi John,

    We do not support flash memory in our I2C IO expanders. After power reset, our IO expanders will revert to default state. 

    The closest device I can give is TCAL6416R - power reset would reset the registers to default state, however, assertion of the external /RESET pin would only reset the I2C/SMBus state machine.
