We would like to clarify which traces need to be length-matched in RMII mode.
In MII mode, both the TX_CLK and RX_CLK are used, and all data lines(TX[1:0],RX[1:0]) are length-matched with these clock signals. However, in RMII mode, the X1 input is used as the clock reference.
Our question is: do the lengths of the data lines(TX[1:0],RX[1:0] and other RMII traces) need to be matched to the length of the X1 input trace, from the clock source to the PHY and MAC?
