THVD8000: CAN issues

Hi,

One of my customers is using the THVD8000 transceivers, sending data constantly at 115200bps (transmitting over 32V power lines), The CAN did not work until they inserted a 10ms delay between transmissions to work reliably. They were wondering if there is anything else they can do to improve that? Thank you

Hi Abigail,

So I am a little surprised they were able to get CAN to function at all with this part - this part doesn't support CAN - it is an OOK modulated RS-485 device.

Is it possible to share a schematic and maybe an overview of what exactly they are trying to do so maybe we can find some sort of solution to their problem.
