Hi,

I am using Linux kernel- 6.1.1 in Imx8mp nxp based platform. I am using TPD12S521 HDMI chip.

What driver need to enabled ? what is device tree configuration for TPD12S521 hdmi with I2C.

Please let me know what data's need to be added in device tree, Also, provide the linux driver for TPD12S521.

Haji,

The TPD12S521 is a protocol passive device, so there is no driver needed.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for the input.

We are using the i.MX8MP processor. As per the hardware connection:

DDC_CLK_IN is connected to I2C_CLK.
DDC_DAT_IN is connected to I2C_SDA.

Can you please provide the TPD12S521 chip Linux kernel device tree configurations?

Haji,

The TPD12S521 is just a level shifter and ESD protection device. It is totally transparent to any driver. If you have the i.MX8MP driver, then you have everything that you need.
