DP83869HM: Power consumption when VDDIO is 2.5V

Hi,

I'm using DP83869HM in my design for RGMII to 1G Base-T conversion. I'm using VDDIO as 2.5V. In datasheet I can only find VDDIO current consumption for VDDIO=3.3V/1.8V. Can you give exact current consumption values for DP83869HM. Below is the section of datasheet where current values are listed under different condition.

Hi Nikhil,

As these are typical values listed, these may vary slightly. I would expect VDDIO at 2.5V to be midway between 1.8V and 3.3V current consumption. I can do a doublecheck for RGMII to 1000Base-T using our EVM to confirm.

Hello,

When setting PHY to operate in RGMII to 1G with 2.5V VDDIO, I saw 10mA of current consumption when not linked while 20mA of consumption when linked.
