TRSF3221E: Difference between TRSF3221E and TRS3227E

Part Number: TRSF3221E
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TRS3227E

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

1) What's the difference between TRSF3221E and TRS3227E?.

2) What's the difference between Auto-powerdown(TRSF3221E supports) and Auto-powerdown plus(TRS3227E supports)?.

I was not able to find a clear difference from these data sheet.

Best Regards,

  • 1. Pin 1 is different, and the 3227 has auto-powerdown plus.

    2. The 3221's driver powers down when no valid signal is detected at the receiver (i.e., when the cable is not connected to the PC). The 3227's driver powers down when the TX/RX signals did not change in the last 30 s. (By connecting the /INVALID output to the FORCEON and /FORCEOFF inputs, the 3227 can be made to behave like the 3221.)

  • Hi Atsushi,

Clemens is correct. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
