Tool/software:

We are integrating DS90UB983 into our ref. design but after surfing TI web-site, we need Scriptgen software tool.

Where can we download or get SW tool mentioned below (click URL link)?

For the FPD-Link IV, 98x devices, we have a Script Generation tool that can be used to set the User Configurations and it will automatically generate an initialization script. Please contact your local TI FAE or representative to access the ScriptGen Tool and ALP GUI profiles, and they can share the files to you.

    Hi Devang, 

    Do you already have access to the CDDS portal where these documents are hosted? This portal is accessible after proper NDAs are completed and customer info / accounts are permitted. Depending on status, I can refer and help get this setup.

    Checking with my marketing counterpart on how best to proceed here, they mentioned you have One Release access; can you happen to see the file there?

    Hi Devang, 

    Yes, CDDS is a separate portal than OneRelease. One Release are the files that show on TI.com after "request more information" is specified. It looks like that most of the files that are hosted on CDDS are also on OneRelase, with the exception of that one that you are looking for. 

    To help expediate things here, I'll drop you the files on Private Message, along with the CDDS link if you also want to test. Marketing team is also getting you set up on there.

    My request is very simple. What software tool(s) I need to use/program DS90UB983?

    Please share download link if available? Examples if available?

    Hi Devang,

    You will need to use the "ScriptGen" tool, which executed through the scripting tab of ALP. First you will manually modify the UserConfig script, then generate the script by running the 98x Script Gen v5p6.py in the Scripting tab of ALP.
