TCA39306: Ibis model using series switch Ansys

Part Number: TCA39306

Tool/software:

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on simulating an I2C bus at a frequency of 100kHz, and I need some guidance. My objective is to integrate the IBIS model of the TCA39360 in order to level shift the signal from +3.3V to +5V between my transmitter and receiver.

However, I am unsure how to implement the IBIS model in conjunction with a series switch in Ansys Electronics 2022. Could someone please assist me in understanding how to incorporate the IBIS model into my simulation?

Additionally, I would appreciate any insights on whether I should use the 1P5, 3P3, or 5P0 model for this application.

Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Hi Luna,

    Sorry for the late reply.

I am not familiar with that testing software. Is there anyway you can provide a schematic?

For the IBIS model, the 3p3 model should be okay to use.

    Regards,
