TUSB320LAI: Which IEC 62680-1-3 functional test items are applicable to TUSB320LAI ?

Hi,

Our product uses the TUSB320LAI CC channel controller for USB-C port control. As per the EU Common Charger Directive, we are required to comply with EN IEC 62680-1-3.

Based on other discussions in this forum, the TUSB320LAI appears to meet EN IEC 62680-1-3, but since it does not support PD communication, could you advise which USB Type-C function test items (TD 4.1.1 – TD 4.13.6) are applicable to TUSB320LAI?

When you refer to parts of x.x.x, are you indicating that the section where PD applies does not pertain to the TUSB320LAI?

Yes when I mention parts to x.x.x there is mention of PD within the test, but this is an optional additional test from my understanding.
