Dear Support Team,
We are integrating the DS90LV011AQ-Q1 (transmitter) and DS90LT012AQ-Q1 (receiver) into a new project. These components will be located on separate printed circuit boards (PCBs) with independent power supplies. We have identified two critical operational scenarios and require your expertise to ensure operation reliability.
Scenario 1: Transmitter Board Powered, Receiver Board Unpowered
- The DS90LV011AQ-Q1 (transmitter) is powered with 3.3V (VDD = 3.3V).
- The DS90LT012AQ-Q1 (receiver) is unpowered (VDD = 0V).
- Our primary concern is whether the DS90LV011AQ-Q1 (transmitter) will sustain damage if its outputs (OUT+ and OUT-) attempt to drive the unpowered DS90LT012AQ-Q1 (receiver).
- Also we are concerned if the DS90LT012AQ-Q1 (receiver) will be damaged by receiving voltage on its inputs (IN+ and IN-) while it is unpowered.
Scenario 2: Transmitter Board Unpowered, Receiver Board Powered
- The DS90LV011AQ-Q1 (transmitter) is unpowered (VDD = 0V).
- The DS90LT012AQ-Q1 (receiver) is powered with 3.3V (VDD = 3.3V).
- We need to know if the DS90LV011AQ-Q1 (transmitter) could be damaged by backwards current on its outputs from the powered DS90LT012AQ-Q1 (receiver).
We kindly request your prompt and detailed technical guidance on these matters.
Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Attila
