DP83TD510E: IEC 60079-47 design requirement

Hi Dave, 

I wanted some more details about what the customer is trying to accomplish in this application. 

Could you describe the requirement customer is trying to meet? Is the customer planning on using the PoDL for their application? I am not familiar with the standard 60079-47. If Co/Lo is referring to the capacitance and inductance looking in to the MDI line, I believe the diagram referenced already meets the requirements stated above.

The standard is APL’s common rule for safety requirement,

Significantly , the diagram referenced is fail to meet C<5nF & L<10uH while looking in to the MDI line

So maybe we need the expert is familiar with 2 WISE (2 wire intrinsic safety ethernet) to reply the issue
