Transmitting 1000BASE-TX Via 4-Wire Interface

I have a lossy, differential, bidirectional data-channel (equals to 4 wires). I need a converter to have Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-TX) transmitted over this channel. There are no additional data-channels for control controlling the data-traffic and so on.

Do you have reference designs or products, which would be helpful for this? I was considering using SFP modules, the SGMII Interface or a modified 1000base-x physical layer.

Thank you
