SN65HVD485E: SN65HVD485EDR MIX D/C and Marking

Part Number: SN65HVD485E

Tool/software:

I would like to inquire about the label show d/c 2309 , the lower left is 33, but the tape reel is sorted 33 and 34 not in order, and laser marks vary in thickness, is this normal?

  • Hi Howard,

I'm reaching out to one of our product engineers to get their opinion on this. I'll get back to you when they provide me their feedback.

  • thanks bobby, I'll keep waiting for your reply.

  • Hi Howard,

    See comments below:

"The A/T site date code is when the material got marked. So if its end of a month/start of next month, the marking on that lot will be 32 or 33(just an example) if it got processed over 2 days.

While testing, the units from both days (32 and 33 marking) will be all together without any order; and based on what got to test first, they will be arranged in the T&R accordingly.

The marking variation is probably due to different machines usage. They both should still be within spec."

Based on this, it seems like these kind of variations are okay.
