TCAN4551-Q1: Software capability with TCAN4550

Customer developed software for TCAN4550, but now the LDO is not required, so if we can switch to TCAN4551 without software change?

    Hello Daniel,

    Yes, the registers and functionality are the same.  The TCAN4551-Q1 is a reduced feature version of the TCAN4550-Q1 and a few features have been removed such as the watchdog, so those register bits are reserved in the TCAN4551-Q1.  But otherwise the devices are the same core with the same register stack.
