Whether these products will remain in supply for at least the next five years.

    Hi Elior,

    I can't technically guarantee anything about life time of parts but the MAX3232E is a high volume device that looks like it has gone through a design change to he newer process technology however the MAX3232EC (temp restricted) looks like it's part of the older process technology. From my understanding, our management has made a change to try to keep the older process technology devices for the next 10 years. I suspect it will still be around for 5 years based on this information. 

    For RS232 devices, this is already a mature portfolio for us with not too many gaps compared to competitors. We don't have any roadmap information to share around this.
