Can you take a look at this resource? If you can show a block diagram of your setup that would be good to see as well.

Hi Shane,

We followed that document, but we can't see the right output, we are testing for MLT-3 EYE. Kindly see below commands on how we prepare the DUT, FYI, we use u-boot mii tool.

mii write 3 1f 8000

mii write 3 0 2100

mii write 3 19 23

mii write 3 1f 4000

mii write 3 d 1f      - enable extended address

mii write 3 e 428     - set 0x428 as the address

mii write 3 e 30      - enable 100Base-TX test modes, set bit [5] to 1 for the selected test mode
mii write 3 27 f      - set test mode, `1,1111`

Please see image below for the test mode we conducted.

Are we performing the right sequence of commands and the right test mode? If not, can you share what is the right sequence of commands to perform the test.

Hi Ben,

For 100BASE-Tx testing you should only need the standard script from the resource I linked above. Are you trying to run the eye mask template test in section 3.2.1 or are you performing a different test?

I have a few asks to understand your test procedure:

1. Can you show an image of the test setup? I'd like to see how the test fixture, DUT, and scope are connected.

2. Can you use the standard script only (no other register changes) and show the compliance test report? The standard script is shown below:

3. I'd like to see what signal you are getting on the scope when using the standard script. If you can include a screen capture of the scope when performing your test that would be helpful.
