SN65DSI83: why cause the SN65DSI83 LVDS output abnormal?

hello expert:

there is a black status happen at my display ;i test the 83 LVDS output clk lane and Y2_data lane both output pclk frequency signal ,there is no frequency signal at other data lane ; what will potential cause this ?

Hello,

Could you please describe your system and what you have running. Do you have the system running with display and it has occasional black screen? Did you try using internal test pattern generation?

this is not a normal case ,this case happen after i short to mipi-dsi signal data lane to ground and then release the shortage; i just want to know if your side had ever meet this case and why cause this ?

Hi Zongtao,

Could you please describe the issue? Could you please share your configuration/ setup, and a comparison of the signals in normal and issue conditions. It would help if you shared the signals/ waveform captures.

And why are you doing the MIPI ground short? Is this a specific test?
