LP-XDS110: LP-XDS110 debug interface

Hi,

I'm trying to connect the LP-XDS110 launchpad debug interface to my custom control board (TI controller part no. TMS320F28384D). I've connected a total of six signals from my controller to the LP-XDS110: TDI, TDO, TCK, TMS, nRST, and GND. But I'm still unable to connect with my target board. I want to know if there are any additional connections I need to make in order to use the LP-XDS110.(I shorted the pins 1-2 in the power selection, which means supply from XDS110 (3.3V)).

Could you please clarify this for me?

I have a TRST pin on my custom card, but the LP-XDS110 only has an nRST pin, and I can't find a TRST pin on the LP-XDS110. Is there any other way I can connect this debug interface to my custom card, or am I unable to use it?

You should be able to just pull TRST high on your custom card while you are using JTAG.
